The Torbay Medical Research Funds meets three times a year between 5.30 – 7.30pm in the Horizon Centre at Torbay Hospital to consider grant applications and to progress the work of the Fund.
The Ian Mckenzie scholarships are also considered at these meetings and in-between meetings, with a decision normally within 10 workings days.
Trust Fund meeting dates are:
- 26th January 2026
- 22nd June 2026
- 2nd November 2026
To meet the necessary deadlines, if you have a grant application you will need to submit the applications no later than:
- 5th January 2026
- 1st June 2026
- 12th October 2026
This will enable any queries to be dealt with prior to submission and presentation to the Fund.
Ian Mckenzie applications will be considered at these meeting s as well as in-between meetings, with a decision within three weeks of submission
